Bud held his son on his lap, "We're going to have another little one in the house soon. We don't know if it's going to be a boy or a girl yet. But we'll know soon."

"Can I play with it?" the boy asked.

"Of course! He or she will definitely want to play with you. But you'll have to be very careful when we first bring him home."

"Why?"

"He'll be so small."

"Okay!"

"You understand what I'm telling you?" Bud asked.

Little AJ nodded as he ran for the stairs. "Jimmy! We're gonna get a puppy!!"
